The servers were courteous and friendly, which made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. We ordered the beef cheeks and it was simply amazing! The meat was so tender and melted in my mouth. The gravy was creamy and complemented the dish perfectly. However, the taco sisig was just so-so. It didn't quite meet my expectations. My friend and I also tried the Paella Negra, but unfortunately, we were not a huge fan of it. It was too salty for our liking. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its great ambiance and delicious beef cheeks!
The food was good. I enjoyed the cozy ambiance, and they do plating really nice and cute. Wasn't crazy over the sisig tacos - it tasted just alright. I really enjoyed the croquettes and paella negra, a real gastronomic experience. Very flavorful.
I also ordered Berry Colada, which tasted a bit strong. Their serving sizes could be tad bigger.
Beef cheeks: melt in your mouth goodness. Wow! Adobo croquetas: sarap! Shrimp gambas: another well done meal. The head and tail are crunchy enough to eat very easily. Are you supposed to though? Who knows but they sure were tasty. Topping it all off with Spicy Pina chef’s kiss!
La Picara is the best Spanish food I’ve ever had. I adored the ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant, with their mood lighting and natural colors and greenery. The softshell crab paella was phenomenal and so were all our appetizers (patatas, fried squid, jamón croquettes). Food came out incredibly fast with perfect timing. All the food is well worth the price. My only complaint is that you don’t get much meat in the paellas, we ordered both the softshell crab and the inasal paellas and there was much more rice than meat). Nevertheless, still amazing with incredible depth of flavor and a great experience.
First visit here for lunch with family group of 6. They were not busy for lunch however we made reservations anyways although they did not receive our request. The only way to make reservations is thru SMS text which you will be able to manage through Tripadvisor. We ordered their House Salad, 3 kinds of croquettes (seafood, Jamon & pork belly) and desserts (Tres Leches & Flan), all very good and just the right portions. They also gave us Patatas Bravas appetizer plate which was very good as well. A bit on the pricey range but the quality and flavors are well worth it. Eno was our very able and courteous server. The kitchen crew was delightful - yes, it is an open kitchen concept so you can view these guys work hard on your orders. A very pleasant experience overall, will return at the next opportunity. Thank you, La Picara Manila team for adding to our memorable family get together. No parking inside building that we saw, we valet-parked nearby near Abenson at P80 for 1st 2 hrs, additional at P50/hr.
Service was great, the servers were really attentive and quick to attend to our group’s requests. We were a table of about 15 and they handled our reunion well. The outdoor patio had a nice vibe. Highly recommend the amaretto sour and the paella.
My visit was a reservation made for a big group. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with my colleagues. We booked a table for a large group and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and they served us exactly as we had requested. The outdoor area was very cozy and the music was not too loud, so we could chat and enjoy ourselves. I loved the Spanish theme of the decor and the menu. I tried the cachopo, ribs and tuna (escabeche) and they were all delicious.
Great place to celebrate a milestone... I was here 2 weeks ago for a dinner date. My gf booked the reservation in advance. We both stayed inside the restaurant for air conditioned experience. Food is delicious with the reasonable price. Their service as well is spectacular, very accommodating and polite. Their manager noticed that I was also celebrating my birthday so she initiated a good plan, giving me a cheesecake desert with a birthday design and greeting me with a song. It was a beautiful experience.
